The Johnson County Small Business Recovery Grant Application has once again reopened and the ECJC is currently accepting all new applications.

Small Business Recovery Grant

Johnson County small businesses will be able to apply for a Johnson County Small Business Recovery grant. The program offers qualified recipients a one-time $20,000 grant to offset revenue losses of 25% or greater incurred from 2019 through 2021 due to COVID-19.

ECJC was previously selected by the Johnson County Government to be the lead agency to distribute grant relief in 2021 and 2022. The grant program is designed to address the economic hardships that Johnson County small businesses experienced during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Johnson County Board of County Commissioners approved the allocation of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds received from the United States Department of the Treasury to fund direct community investment programs to address struggling small businesses, including diminishing childcare capacity within Johnson County.

The program is open to all Johnson County small businesses (with at least one and no more than 50 full-time employees) who can verify significant revenue loss (of 25% or greater) during the period of January 2019 to December 2021.

Two Phases to the Application

The application will have two phases: 1) an online application and 2) an ECJC representation will review your documentation and contact you within 48 hours regarding questions (if any) on your documentation.

After review of your application, you will receive an email notice regarding your grant status. Please do not contact our offices for a status update as that will only delay the processing of your application.

Download the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document below to learn more. If your questions is not answered in the FAQ, please email JoCo Grants Info with your question(s).
