The Mid-America Angels (MAA) is a network of nearly 150 accredited angel investors and the Women's Capital Connection (WCC) has 40+ women investor members in its network. Our network of members are located in Kansas and Missouri and seek exceptional investment opportunities with the potential for high returns. These angel networks are no longer making new investments, but we continue maintaining our current portfolio.

The Women’s Business Center offers a variety of programs and services for entrepreneurs who have an idea, want to test the feasibility of it and potentially develop it into a business. We have one-on-one business consultations by appointment or referral for anyone looking to start, manage or grow a business. Our Growth Mentoring Service and Women Lead Initiative are designed with strong entrepreneurial leadership top of mind. GMS is a program modeled after the established and highly recognized MIT VMS mentoring program, which connects experienced entrepreneurs with a team of skilled volunteer mentors. WLI takes the next step knowing leading isn't just running a company or managing a group of people, it's a mindset for success with a work life balance. Successful leaders possess common traits that they exhibit consistently. We have the the education and resources entreprenuers need to be great leaders.

We have a strong understanding of the importance of networking with peers at all levels, so we've designed several networking opporunities — from WE-Connect cocktail hours to Dolphin Tank pitch events to Venture Lounge — all of which are designed with entreprenuers and their networking needs in mind.
