Business services offered by ECJC
1. Business consulting
- ECJC establishes a master services agreement for qualified companies desiring help with starting or expanding their business.
- We work on a project basis.
- We will set up a no-charge initial consultation with you and your management team to determine the scope of the work.
- We will develop a proposal outlining the deliverables and what we think it will cost us to complete.
- We will reach agreement with you and then commence our work.
- Our fees are capped at the amount in the proposal. Should it cost less, we will refund the difference. Should it take longer, you will not be charged more.
- We usually require clients to pay in cash—one quarter up front with the balance due upon satisfactory completion of the project.
- In limited cases, at our option, we may accept equity payment in lieu of cash.
- Examples of recent consulting projects:
- We utilized 5 methodologies to help a startup company establish a reasonable and supportable business valuation.
- We provided a 1) market pricing and penetration strategy and 2) competitive analysis for a new product manufacturing company.
- We provided investor-grade “business plan and pitch” documents for a startup company and arranged a “friendly fire” panel of experts to provide feedback.
- We helped a company rationalize its accounting process and set up its QuickBooks bookkeeping system.
- Our ideal client meets many of the following criteria:
- Innovative product or service
- Early stage “high-return” company
- Potential national or international scope
- Coachable, flexible, team-player profile
- Demonstrated commitment to the business
- Johnson County business location preferred
- Significant revenue and job growth potential
- Ability to stay in business for 3-6 months on existing capital
- What does it cost?
- Our consulting services are priced by the project, based on an hourly rate of $125/hour, not to exceed a pre-determined maximum amount.
- Office space starts as low as $495/month/office.
- For qualified clients, we will bundle consulting services with office space to lower the total cost to the entrepreneur. These client service packages start at $1,000/month.
