Is your organization ready for the next publishing revolution? As books and magazines transition from paper to electrons, so too should your company’s training manuals, annual reports, catalogs and brochures.

Perhaps you think you’re ready because you convert your important publications into PDFs and place them on the website. But your customers, partners and employees want to read them on their Kindle or iPad and they appreciate the rich media experience provided by audio, video and interactive features.

In this workshop you will learn how to publish content for the most popular eBook formats and devices. We will also discuss the new interactive and rich media environments such at Apple’s textbook format and analytics visualization tools such as Tableau, Omniscope and Splunk. We’ll review the new skillsets that are needed from your employees or partners so that you can offer compelling new media communications to everyone.

Make sure that your communications platforms are ready for the 21st Century audience.

Doug Allen, President of Allen’s Consulting, is the presenter for this workshop. He is a prominent leader in the Kansas City technology community with over 30 years of experience in the Information Services industry. For the past two decades, Doug has served as CIO for Pioneer Financial, JCCC and Franklin Savings & Loan. He has authored two published books and several personal computer technology courses. He has developed and presented 30 different seminar topics around e-learning technologies, networking software applications and Internet research. Doug has also served on multiple advisory panels for companies such Microsoft, Compaq, ComputerLand & SCT and currently is a member of the Silicon Prairie Association.
